1. connecting to Asus wireless router
> Unplug the router from the power cord.
> Make sure that Computer and router are connected with ethernet cable.
> Once finished, switch on the power supply for the router and turn on the computer.
> Open your Internet browser and type 192.168.1.1 into the address bar then press enter or you can see the backside of Asus router.
> Now, you can see the login page, enter a default username- admin and default password- admin. and click Next.
> Your Router will automatically detect that which type of connection like Static, Dynamics, DHCP, and PPPoE.
> After login, press [Go] to start the setup
> Create a Router Login Name and Password then press Next to continue for the setup.
2. The next thing is you need to do is set a wireless password
> visit router setup and Type the name whatever you want to keep in "network name"
> Enter the password and it should be of maximum 8 characters in "network key"
> Before the new settings can be applied, the router will again ask for an authentication done by entering your new Login name and Password.
Note:- After Setup this information. please don't forget to restart your Asus router.
Now, your Asus router is ready for use.
